- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆The water department put the meter in the wrong spot even after I told the lady on the phone there were 2 meter spots in front of my house and she assured me they knew which one was the correct spot. then the plumbers show up and charge me $400 to dig up the yard where water was spewing out saying I must have a broken line. The line was broken and for a city sprinkler setup that used to be on the property before the house was built 30 years ago. Now I am out $400 to the plumbers due to the water departments screw up. When the city finally got out to put the meter in the correct spot the line to my house worked perfect no leaks and they did not tighten down there side of the meter so the meter hole is %100 filled with water all the time and they have yet to come back out to fix their side. my side is fine my meter isn't spinning at all.By Mase Driskell, October 23, 2016
