  I absolutely love Arvest Bank in general. I previously banked with BofA and BofOK and EXTREMELY DISLIKE both due to their 'habit' of processing all the big transactions first so you get hit with fees for every little purchase if you unexpectedly go negative in your account. I've banked with Arvest now for a few years and I have always felt that they do their best to help me out in any way they can. If I'm low in my account, they put all small transactions through first so there are less fee's if my acct ends up going negative. An insurance company, that I cancelled a month ago, charged me $250 when they shouldn't have which caused my account to go negative and it took them 2 WEEKS to refund my money and Arvest offered, without me asking, to refund the insufficient fund fee if the insurance company gave me grief about it! (not to mention their fee is only $17). And they're open 'til 8pm. I absolutely love Arvest and can't say it enough times. But I hope I'm not jinxing myself by writing this review ;)

  Liars. Told me I could close my account over the phone after closing 3 other accounts at the Vandalia location by FSR Ivan. Now the CSR says I have to come into a branch to close this account. Wasting my time. If I lived further away they would close it by phone. What a crock of ...
